Dr. Lily Mark-Maasdam
Dr. Lily was born in South Bend, Indiana. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame. She received her Optometric Doctorate from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1998. Her clinical rotations included training at the Mountain Home VAMC in Johnson City, Tennessee and at the Missouri Eye Institute in St Louis.
She has been active with the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis since moving to the Knoxville area in 1998. She enjoys cooking and playing tennis, but most of all enjoys time with her two daughters and husband.
Dr. Jason Maasdam
Dr. Jason is an Iowa native and graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and Illinois College of Optometry. He graduated with clinical honors in the treatment and management of ocular disease. His clinical training includes ocular disease training at the University of Chicago, Sidney Hillman Health Center in Chicago, the Illinois Eye Institute, and Tuscaloosa Veterans Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. His professional interests include glaucoma, dry eye, and the application of technology in health care. Keeping Eye Health Solutions at the forefront of optometric care and technology is a passion of his. When Dr. Jason is not in the office you can find him spending time with family or running on a trail somewhere.
Dr. Rachel Browne
Dr. Rachel was born in Pella and graduated from Pella Community High School in 2004. After attending Iowa State University, she received her doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry in 2012. Upon graduating, she began practicing in Madison, WI before moving back to practice in her hometown, where she resides with her husband, Dustin, and their three children. Throughout her clinical rotations, she received honors for excellence in patient care and she continues to strive to help every patient achieve their best vision and eye health. Her professional interests include ocular disease and dry eye management. She is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Outside of the office, you can find her cheering at youth sporting events, being outdoors, or traveling whenever possible.
